This is my chili recipe. I have had several requests so here it is. You should know I rarely keep to it.
Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 8oz can dice tomatoes
- 1 15oz can of Black Beans
- 1 15oz can of Red Beans
- 1 15oz can of Pinto Beans
- 1 15oz can of Kidney Beans
- 1 4oz can of dice green chiles
- 1 8oz can of tomato sauce
- 4 fresh jalapenos
- 4-5 cloves of garlic (about 1/2 a head)
- 1 onion
- 2 teaspoons of cumin powder
- 3 tablespoons of chili powder
- 2 teaspoons to 2 tablespoons of black pepper
- 2 teaspoons to 2 tablespoons of Cayenne Red Chile Powder
Directions
- Brown the meat
- mix all cans (don’t drain) and meat
- chop and add the veggies
- simmer for 1-2 hours. I usually get impatient at an hour, but 2 hours is the original recipe I started from.
Add (Real men) or remove (wimps) spicy elements as necessary.
