April 22nd, 2009

An interesting article on foreclosures. Maricopa made the list. Still an excellent time to buy an investment.

Day at the Zoo

April 14th, 2009

My big project at work wrapped up this week so I took some time off today to head to the zoo with the fam. The Phillips’ also joined us. It was a beautiful day; sunny, breezy, and mid 80s. Ethan liked walking around and eventually crashed out in his stroller for his nap. Before he took his nap, we saw the giraffes, zebras, and a fantastic rose garden. Here are some photos. After his nap, he enjoyed a churro (luckily, he paid the mom and dad tax) and ran around the splash pad, which is a fancy name for water fountains. Ethan behaved very well and it was a great day to hang out with the family. The zoo was followed by a trip to the Home Depot where Ethan helped push the cart around and finally at Target to buy some diapers.

We wrapped up the day with a tasty steak dinner and some super sweet cup cakes.

Easter 2009

April 13th, 2009

We had a great Easter Day! The Easter bunny visited our house and left a basket of Wooden trains, Thomas and friends, for the train table we are working on for Ethan. There was also a Thomas bubble blower and an Etch a Sketch in his basket. He had a blast playing with the trains! We then went over to Grandma Glenda’s and Grandpa’s Bill’s house. We had a fun time coloring eggs and playing with toys. Then we went to Grandma Lisa’s house and visited with family. Ethan napped most of the time there, but we had lots of quality time with Logan (Ethan’s cousin). Then it was home for bed and relaxation!! Here are the pictures.

Phoenix Children’s Museum

April 8th, 2009

Ethan and I went to the Phoenix Children’s Museum this morning with Stroller Strides. We had a lot of fun. He really enjoyed the kitchen area. He had a lot of fun with the frying pan and “food”. It was cute to see him so focused and having so much fun. There was a grocery store area, but he just wanted to go back to the kitchen. He’s my lttle chef. Enjoy these pics.

MOMs Club Easter Brunch

April 6th, 2009

The Maricopa MOMs Club I belong to held a Family Easter brunch yesterday. It was a lot of fun!!! There was a lot of yummy food and friends to hang out with. The Easter bunny rode up on a motorcycle and stayed for the rest of the festivities. Ethan was not a fan of the Easter bunny. Ethan did enjoy his first Easter egg “hunt”. We had a great time!! Here are some pictures.
